In the heart of Uganda, where communities depend on the land for survival, the effects of climate change are not distant headlines — they are daily realities. Dried-up wells. Failed harvests. Families forced to choose between food and school fees.
This is where I come from. This is why I speak.
Welcome to EcoDiaries — a space where stories meet action, and grassroots voices rise to challenge environmental injustice. Through this blog, I’ll be documenting the work we do, the struggles we face, and the hope we nurture across Uganda and beyond

Why EcoDiaries?
EcoDiaries is more than a blog. It’s a growing archive of lived experiences, community stories, and youth-led solutions to the climate crisis. It’s where we reflect, inform, and inspire.
Here’s what you can expect from EcoDiaries:
Stories from the Field: Real-life experiences from environmental outreach programs, school visits, tree planting, and sustainable projects.
Voices of the Youth: Spotlighting young people making bold moves to protect their environment.
Behind the Movement: Updates from Apollo Forests, the Sound Earthers Project, and other youth-led initiatives shaping climate resilience in Uganda.
Practical Insights: Community-centered approaches to waste management, recycling, regenerative agriculture, and clean energy.
Partner Highlights: Collaborations with changemakers, and the impact we create when we work together.
A Personal Mission
I started EcoDiaries to document not just what we do, but why we do it.
Because behind every tree we plant is a child who might grow up in a cooler, greener world.Behind every awareness session is a farmer learning to protect both crops and soil.Behind every photo and story is a call — for justice, for restoration, and for shared responsibility.
Let’s Grow This Together
Whether you're a student, parent, policymaker, or fellow activist — EcoDiaries is your space too. My goal is to make climate advocacy visible, relatable, and rooted in the realities of communities like mine.
Thank you for being here at the beginning. Let’s learn, act, and grow — one diary at a time.
